2014 was an amazing year for MannKrafted and due to increased demand, I made the decision to create our newest model in the style of one of the most popular putters in history. The new model was labeled the “MA/66” and is the very best of its kind, in our opinion. Since its introduction, it has been far and away the most popular model I have built and continues to impress those who take the leap of faith required for an internet purchase. This is a putter that I stand behind, 100% and have more faith in its worth than I can say.
I honestly feel that what I had learned over the past 17 years, doing refinish, restoration and customization of virtually every makers’ version of this same putter, had given me what I needed to craft the best possible putter in this style. With this in mind, I found the best CNC shop in Arizona and created the MA/66.
Customers have the freedom to choose RH or LH head configurations and really more choices than any other maker is currently offering. The MA/66 is available in 1018 CR carbon steel, 303 Stainless Steel, or 360 USA Brass.
Finishes vary, based on the material chosen. I have always provided the most common finishes and am always on the watch for something unique or unusual.
Stampings on the putter can be chosen by the customer, as well. I have several sizes of handstamps and am adding to my character stamps as often as I can. If you have any requests regarding any feature on your putter, please don’t hesitate to ask at time of filling out the MA/66 Build sheet. That sheet can be requested thru the email link on the site.
I have designed the rough milled head so that weight options, face milling options and some other features can be accommodated for a small up-charge. Each putter will come with a cover to be chosen at time of ordering, made by one of the top putter cover manufactures in the US, today.
I have chosen a few recent builds to show as samples and hope that you can get some ideas or maybe see one that you already love.
Thank you for viewing the newest model and I look forward to crafting one to earn the gamer spot in your bag of golf weaponry.
