The first version of our t-shirt was very well-received and I have always seen the Sugar Skull as a colorful piece of celebration. To get this idea across better, we did a black tri-blend t-shirt with the artwork done in red and white screen printing. I love the contrasting colors and believe that you will love it, especially if you already have the gray in your wardrobe, ;).
The shirts are not a pure black, but almost a sueded black look that has a similar, but not identical feel to the gray ones. My wife says that the gray is "softer to the touch, but the darker version is a little lighter material." I LOVE the feel of both and think that her description is spot-on.
The fit is still on the athletic scale, so keep that in mind when you order. The tri-blend should not shrink very much at all, but at this time, I have not laundered one, so I cannot give an informed statement.
You will not be disappointed in the quality or the colors on these and I can't wait to start shipping them out.
