The MannZanita was a putter designed to reflect the looks of the Manzanita bush, a twisted growth that is very common in Arizona, where all of my putters are made.

I start with a stock CNC’d head and soften all of the edges, narrow it approximately 1/8” from original and go to work on the “landing area” for the hosel. I extend the pintail a little bit, creating a softer slope at the heel end of the top line. I like to attach the hosel on this model, as well as on a couple others, directly on top of the slope, itself. I love the way it looks and it makes my putters stand apart from most other makers.

The neck on the MannZanita is where the name really comes from. Our standard neck is a heat-softened, twisted neck design that very few putter craftsmen ever put in their offerings, on any models. It has been seen on a few very high-end putters from other makers, but never as a stock offering on any model.

Golfers ordering the MannZanita model will be able to choose approximate neck length. Once that detail is decided, it will be up to the MannKrafted team to put it together, just as the customer has envisioned it.

Finish options on this model are the same as all MannKrafted putters and any of the options will most certainly create a putter that will stand out on the putting green, whenever it is called upon.
